Paths of the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces With Mountains as a Backdrop

In Bali, and perhaps throughout Indonesia, this is the largest and most picturesque expanse of rice paddies.

On your way to the region, you will already see lush green views, while the main vantage point is in the village.

There is usually an entrance fee for the main village area, which is usually covered by tour operators. The fee goes to the village cooperative fund.

A panorama of gently sloping terraces can be seen as far as the eye can see from the halfway point.

From one side of the rice fields to the other, all the main paths are paved in concrete.

There are always smaller side paths that you can take. There are also steps to places such as temples, local restaurants, and an outdoor amphitheatre.
